Food Challenge at Post 149 | 2019

Helping HandsTo our members and community partners, over the past several years we have collected food and other items to support military families and veterans at Camp Pendleton.  This is an ongoing program continuing each year by Post 149 Auxiliary.  Again, we are asking for your generous donations of food and other items which will be distributed at Camp Pendleton through our partner, Helping Hands Worldwide Organization. Distributions at the southern area of Camp Pendleton are held on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of the month and the north area distribution is held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Helping Hands Worldwide operates their programs by partnering with other entities such as Albertson’s, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Sprouts, an Egg Ranch, and Growers Direct as well as American Legion Families and other community members.   Donations are picked up by their refrigerated trucks each morning prior to the distributions.  By working together, we are able to continue to alleviate hunger and other needs to active military families and veterans at Camp Pendleton.  We welcome your donations which may be dropped off at our Post 149.  Questions?  Contact Irene Clingman,
