As we welcome March, I want to let you know that we are doing a Buddy Check on JB Clark Post 149 Members! Spring is just around the corner, bringing with it some great opportunities to come together in camaraderie and service. We need volunteers to help conduct make those phone calls to our comrades. This is an important part of being in the American Legion Family. We care about one another and want to make sure we are supporting each other.
☘️ College Night – March 15th
Join us in the Clubroom for the band Carl’s Bad Habits and their college student body following! We’ll have drink specials and plenty of Irish cheer. Wear your green and enjoy an evening of fun!
⚾ American Legion Baseball Season Kickoff
The American Legion Baseball season is just around the corner! Post 149 has long supported our local youth athletes, and we’re excited to see our teams back in action. Stay tuned for game schedules and ways you can support the players. Whether it’s attending games, volunteering, or spreading the word, your involvement makes a difference!
🎖 March Post Meeting – March 18th at 6 PM
All members are encouraged to attend our monthly meeting. We’ll be discussing upcoming events, ongoing initiatives, and ways we can better serve our veterans and community. Bring a fellow Legionnaire—let’s grow our ranks!
🍽 Sunday Morning Breakfast starts at 9 AM
Join us on Sunday mornings for a morning meal and good company. Our Sunday morning breakfasts help support the post, so come hungry and bring a friend! The hosts for the breakfasts are:
- 1st Sunday: Disabled American Veterans Chapter 70
- 2nd Sunday: Sons of the American Legion Squadron 149
- 3rd Sunday: VACANT - No breakfast scheduled yet! (If you are aware of an organization that would be interested in doing a breakfast please let me know. All the proceeds go to the organization hosting.)
- 4th Sunday: Brothers of 6 Charities, Inc.
- 5th Sunday: American Legion Riders Chapter 149
If you haven’t renewed your membership yet for 2025, now is the time! Your membership keeps Post 149 strong and allows us to continue supporting veterans, youth programs, and our community. Our post thrives because of the dedication of our members. Whether you volunteer, attend events, or simply renew your membership, you are an essential part of Post 149.
