Hello Legionnaires,

I hope this message finds you well. July was a busy month as we welcomed the new fiscal year and I completed my first month as your Adjutant. I’m grateful for your patience as I continue to learn and adapt to this role. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in August:

1. Get Involved!

Clubroom Committee: We need enthusiastic members to join this committee, where you'll brainstorm and plan events to bring people into the post and support our Post. If you're interested, please share your contact information with me directly or leave it with the bartenders in my absence.

House Committee: This committee plays a crucial role in maintaining our facility and ensuring it’s operational. Whether you have building experience or are willing to learn, your help is vital to keep facility operational. Please provide your information to me or the bartenders if you’d like to join.

2. Exciting News!

Escondido JackedUp Brewery Collaboration: We’re thrilled to announce that Escondido JackedUp Brewery will create a custom beer for the Post, with 10% of the sales coming back to us. We need your input on the type and name of the beer. Visit our Post Facebook page for a chance to win five bar chips by participating in the Beer Name Contest: Escondido Legion Facebook

3. Adjutant Office Hours:

I’m available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If these hours don’t work for you, please reach out to me to arrange a meeting outside these times. These will be a case by case basis.

4. Membership Information:

Please note that bartenders cannot process membership renewals or new memberships. They can accept payments and new applications, which will be placed in my box for processing.

5. Stay Updated:

Check out our new digital signage throughout the post for up-to-date information on monthly events. These signs will be refreshed regularly to keep you informed.

6. Advertising Opportunities:

If you own a business or know someone who does, we have advertising space available on our new digital signs at a reasonable rate. Please contact me for details on how to advertise at the Post.
